About Our Founder, Engr. Daniel Iheagwara, FNSE, KSM
Engineer Daniel Iheagwara is the founder and until July 11, 2014 was the President & Chief Executive Officer of Aluminum – Gold Engineering Company Limited. Prior to founding the company, his career path took him through many elite engineering companies in Lagos, Nigeria including General Metal Products Company, where he headed the Isowall and Hilti division (East). He also worked for the Lagos-based HFP Engineering Limited, owners of Victoria Garden City, and builders of Dolphin Estate in Ikoyi among others.
Later on at Troyka Group, the biggest advertising conglomerate in Nigeria, he was seconded to Optimum Exposures, where he raised Optical Steel and Aluminium Ltd, and for more than four years managed the firm successfully.
In addition to successfully founding Aluminium – Gold Engineering Company Ltd, a top tier engineering firm and the leader in fabrication, construction and installation of steel and aluminium products in Nigeria today, he also founded Trojan Outdoor Advertising a cutting-edge outdoor advertizing engineering company.
Dan held several corporate board memberships including those of Yoshire Foods Ltd, Kano; Aluminium – Gold Hygienic Products Ltd, Lagos; Bobnel Handicapped Child Support project; and Tytan Logistics and Transport Co. Ltd.
He was widely regarded as the father of modern outdoor advertizing engineering in Nigeria and has been credited with training and mentoring about 60% of the current management team and manpower in the outdoor engineering industry in Nigeria.
